Museum 10 Nopember

To support the existence of this Monument, the government built the museum called Museum 10 November 1945. This building has pyramid shape which is located seven meters underground and 10 meters above ground with purpose this building does not dominate the Monument. This museum was established on February 19 th , 2000 by President KH. Abdurrahman Wahid.


Museum 10 Nopember 1945 is located on Pahlawan Street, dealing with the governor’s office. Inside the museum, we will see the collection from Bung Tomo, one of the figures the Independence Day, Hall of Fame 10 youth, HR. Muhammad, Mayor Jendral Soengkono and many more. The most unique thing is a speech from Bung Tomo, which always attracts many visitors. On that speech, Bung Tomo inspirits Arek-Arek Suroboyo to against the allied force.


Through the Monument Tugu Pahlawan and Museum 10 Nopember 1945, the development of Surabaya will always be increased by spreading information and promoting Surabaya about its tourism to other people out there. The Head Officers hope that people who come to this museum not only learn about Surabaya history, but also enjoy with the facilities provided.
